
'If govt can las for 5 years, then why not farmers' protest'- Rakesh Tikait
- BKU leader Rakesh Tikait celebrated Diwali along with farmers and other leaders.
- They all remembered the farmers and jawans killed at the Ghazipur protest site itself.
- Farmers also organized a program called "Do diyas, martyrs ke liye" for the soldiers who died in the line of duty.
- Talking to NDTV, Tikait said that the last time the central government spoke to the farmers was on January 22.
- When asked how long the farmers' movement would last, Tikait said, "If governments can last for 5 years, then protests can also last for 5 years."
