
Air quality deteriorates in Delhi ahead of Diwali, PM reaches to 'very poor'
- The air quality has been deteriorating in Delhi and it was recorded in the very poor category today.
- The wind was deteriorating continuously for the last two to three days.
- The air quality index of Centre-run SAFAR has said that PM 2.5 was recorded in the 'poor' category at 252 and PM 10 in the 'very poor' category at 131.
- The IMD had predicted that the air quality in Delhi-NCR will remain in the low level of 'poor' and only at 'very poor' level.
- The department has also indicated that the air quality will go down to the "very poor" level on November 4.
