'Congress made good use of the issue of inflation and it defeated us'- Himachal CM
- BJP has faced a major setback in Himachal Pradesh. Congress has won the Mandi Lok Sabha.
- Apart from this, Congress has also won all three assembly seats, Fatehpur, Arki and Jubal-Kotkhai.
- Reacting to this, state CM Jai Ram Thakur said, "Congress made good use of the issue of inflation and it defeated us."
- He said, "Congress used inflation as a weapon. This was the issue of the by-election this time."
- Thakur said, "But inflation is a global issue, not only that. It is because of this that we have lost."
