Air quality in Delhi-NCR worsens due to stubble burning, AQI considered poor

  • The stubble smoke has again started spoiling the air condition of Delhi-NCR.
  • The AQI of Delhi NCR has jumped 93 points to 232 in the last 24 hours which is considered poor.
  • According to the SAFAR, the air quality in Delhi NCR will worsen in the next 24 hours.
  • SAFAR added that in the last 24 hours, over 656 stubble burning cases were registered in the neighbouring states.
  • The PM 2.5 particulates generated from it accounted for 16 percent of the pollution.
