BMC is looting poor people by issuing hefty fines to people for not wearing masks
- The Government of Maharashtra has issued specific guidelines on the use of masks. But Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is looting common people for not wearing them.
- This video was shot at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) where BMC authorities were seen looting poor people who were not wearing masks.
- When asked for receipts, the officer did not issue them and was also torturing the poor. This is a massive corruption scandal going on in Mumbai. Many such incidents have been reported in the city.
- Is Uddhav Thackeray, the CM of Maharashtra and also Party Chief of Shiv Sena, the ruling party of BMC unaware of this scandal? If he is, then why is he not taking any action against the authorities?
- The BMC and Maharashtra Government needs to immediately stop this corruption, otherwise should be ready to face a massive backlash from the common people.
