
Bangladesh is turning into a 'Jihadistan'- Taslima Nasreen over anti-Hindu violence
- Angry over incidents of anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh, noted author Taslima Nasreen has said that her country is now turning into a 'Jihadistan'.
- She said that the government is using religion for its political gains and madrassas are engaged in creating fanatics.
- Taslima, who was expelled from Bangladesh 28 years ago, said in an interview that she no longer calls it Bangladesh.
- "All governments made Islam the state religion, due to which the condition of Hindus and Buddhists has become pathetic there", she added.
- Taslima said, "In Bangladesh last week, Hindu temples were attacked at a Durga Puja pandal in Comilla area and clashes broke out between police and attackers.
