- The next hearing of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case will be heard in the Supreme Court on October 20 (Wednesday).
- The matter will be heard before a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice NV Ramana.
- Eight people were killed when a vehicle was rammed over agitating farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3.
- Union Minister of State Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra is accused of ramming the vehicle.
