Horrifying! 5 killed due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, a scene of devastation
- Heavy rains in Uttarakhand for the last three days have created scenes of chaos and disaster in the hill state.
- Roads are flooded with water and debris, bridges have collapsed and rivers are in spate.
- Local people are upset as well as tourists are also stranded in many places.
- So far, at least five people including three labourers from Nepal have died.
- DM Vijay Kumar Jogdande said that these five were buried alive in the rubble. Two others were killed when a house collapsed in Champawat district.
