Kisan Union submits memorandum to Sadar SDM, raised slogans against the government
- In the Lakhimpur incident in Siddharthnagar district, workers of the BKU protested for not taking proper action against the Union Minister's son and for the removal of Union Minister Ajay Mishra from the post of Minister.
- They demonstrated at the Siddharthnagar railway station at the headquarters under the Rail Roko Andolan and slogans were raised against the government.
- Keeping security in mind, the administration kept a strict vigil and the local administration and police. GRP was present on the spot during the protest.
- Dozens of Kisan Union workers have submitted a memorandum to the Sadar SDM demanding early action in this matter.
- District President Pradeep Kumar Pandey, while talking to the media, made serious allegations against the govt and demanded strict action against the culprits in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.
