Business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani has proved his mettle in many other business areas from oil.
He has his eyes on the fashion industry. Ambani has bought 40 % stake in renowned Bollywood fashion designer Manish Malhotra's high profile fashion brand MM Styles.
A statement was issued by Reliance Industries Limited on Friday regarding this partnership between the two companies.
It also said that apart from expanding the physical presence of the Malhotra brand and four flagship stores in India, the Reliance Group will work to build a global powerhouse for the brand.
However, the statement did not disclose the financial transactions between the two companies.
