
Kerala- Heavy rains and landslides lead to the killing of 9, state on high-alert
- Heavy rains in some parts of Kerala have caused landslides in Idukki and Kottayam districts.
- A total of 9 people have died in rain-related incidents so far. Government sources have confirmed this.
- A total of 13 people, including five children, are also reported missing in these accidents.
- The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain on Sunday as well.
- Meanwhile, the Travancore Devasam Board urged the devotees of Lord Ayyappa to refrain from visiting the Sabarimala temple on October 17 and 18.
