Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has termed the Lakhimpur massacre as "absolutely condemnable".
She said that similar incidents happen in other parts of India too, but they have to be raised at the same time.
She added, "They should be raised when they have happened, not when, because of the BJP govt in a state.
She said this in response to a question asked during a conversation at Harvard Kennedy School about the deaths of 4 farmers in Lakhimpur.
Letting you know, Nirmala Sitharaman is on an official visit to the United States.
