Saint killed in UP, miscreants slit throat of Mahant Khemkaran, cut off his tongue
- The process of killings of sadhus and saints in UP is not taking its name to stop. A similar incident has come to the fore again in Ujhani Kotwali of Badaun district.
- According to the information received, Mahant Khemkaran used to go to sleep every night in a private temple in Adhauli village.
- The miscreants came in the night and killed the Mahant by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon, cutting off his tongue and moustache and took it with them.
- Late in the night, when Khemkaran's grandson returned from the feast, he saw that there was blood lying near the Mahant's cot. When he went inside, he saw the Mahant's body was lying.
- The relatives alleged that Mahant's grandson Pope Singh's wife became the village head, due to which there was a dispute with some people in the village.
