- After this, Rahul Gandhi sat on a dharna at Lucknow airport itself. Rahul said that he is not being allowed to go out of the airport.
- Rahul Gandhi wanted to use his personal vehicle to visit Lakhimpur but the BJP Govt was not allowing him to do so.
- But now, the UP govt has taken a U-turn and permitted him to go to Lakhimpur by his own vehicle.
- After this, a 5-member Congress delegation led by Rahul left for violence-hit Lakhimpur Kheri from Lucknow airport.
