Lakhimpur violence- Lawyers file a complaint with police against Haryana CM Khattar
- Two lawyers working in the district court of Cyber City Gurugram on Monday filed a complaint with the police of the viral video of Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
- In the viral video, the CM is seen talking about a purported 'tit for tat' strategy against protesting farmers during a meeting of the BJP's Kisan Morcha in Chandigarh.
- The complainant advocates have been identified as Mandeep Sehra and Dinesh Kumar.
- He has said in the complaint, "A video has gone viral on October 3, in which Haryana CM has asked to form volunteer groups of 500, 700 and 1,000 for North and West Haryana, as there is no problem in South Haryana."
- They have used words like 'utha lo dande'. After that everywhere 'shathe sathyam samacharet'.. what does it mean, like tit for tat."
