Lakhimpur Violence- Crushed farmer's family refuses to perform last riots, demands an autopsy
- In the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, that happened on Sunday, over 8 people were killed and many were injured.
- Among those, there was a 19-year-old farmer, Lovepreet Singh, who was killed in the violence.
- Lovepreet's father said, "My son was crushed under the car...they have not taken any action against the person responsible for this."
- The farmers alleged that the car was being driven by the son of 'Mantriji', Ashish Mishra. UP Police has registered a case against him.
- Weeping next to the body kept in the coffin, Lovepreet's family today refused to perform the last rites till the autopsy report and the copy of the FIR against Ashish Mishra were given.
