Lakhimpur violence- FIR lodged against Union Minister's son Ashish Mishra
- An FIR has been lodged against Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni.
- This came after the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, where 8 farmers were killed and others were injured.
- The administration has taken Priyanka Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav into custody.
- A case has been registered against Ashish Mishra under the sections of murder and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
- IG Range Laxmi Singh said that a case has been registered against the named Ashish Mishra Monu and 15-20 unknowns under sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 130B, 304A.
