
Tata Sons wins bid for Air India, official announcement to be made soon
- Tata Sons, the holding company of India’s largest conglomerate, has won the bid for national carrier Air India.
- The bid was approved by the panel of ministers headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
- While the official announcement of the same is expected in the coming days.
- According to the sources, the Tata bid is nearly Rs 3,000 crore more than the reserve price set by the Centre.
