Kejriwal announces health as his second guarantee in Punjab, ensures free treatment
- Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has today announced his second guarantee for Punjab in Ludhiana which is a guarantee of health and hospital guarantee.
- He said that today the condition is so worse in Punjab that if someone falls ill then he will struggle to get treatment in govt hospitals or primary health centers.
- Kejriwal said, "All medicine, test, treatment, operation everything free. It has been done in Delhi. Even if someone has a treatment cost of 20 lakhs, the treatment will be free."
- He added, "Every person of Punjab will be issued a health card, it will contain all the information about the health of the person. Those who have this will be treated free."
- "Altogether 16,000 Mohalla Clinics will be opened in Pinds and cities of Punjab. All the big hospitals will be fixed, new govt hospitals will open on a large scale", said Kejriwal.
