After Supreme Court, NHRC also objects to PM Modi's picture in its email

- Now, the NHRC has also issued an objection over showing the picture of PM Modi and the slogan 'Sabka Saath' in its official mail.
- Justifying it, the NHRC said that it can affect the opinion of the people about the independence of the commission.
- The NHRC official said that it was unaware of the matter as Modi's picture and slogan could only be seen by the recipients of the mail.
- He said that the platform was unaware that it was being used by the National Informatics Center for such purposes.
