'If I had believed Hitler, Mussolini, Godse, I would have gone to BJP'- Jignesh Mevani
- Congress leader from Gujarat, Jignesh Mevani has joined Congress. In a conversation with NDTV, he was asked the question that why did you not join BJP?
- To this, Jignesh replied, "If he had believed Hitler, Mussolini and Nathuram Godse, he would have gone to BJP."
- He added, "I believe in Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Periyar, Mahatma Phule and Bhagat Singh, so I did not go."
- Jignesh said, "In the 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections, when Hardik, Alpesh and Jignesh protested on the streets, BJP couldn't set its agenda. We set the agenda."
- He said, "the same thing will happen in 2022, 2024 elections, where we will set the agenda of inflation, unemployment and loot of resources."
