UP- 204 nutrition units are to be set up for Anganwadi children in 43 districts, only 2 installed till now
- Uttar Pradesh govt is setting up a nutrition unit to provide good nutrition to the children of Anganwadi.
- According to the scheme, 204 units are to be set up in 43 districts of UP, whose responsibility was given to 'UP State Rural Livelihood Mission'.
- The Nutrition Unit scheme has completed one year in September but only 2 units have been set up in Fatehpur and Unnao districts.
- Only 2 units have been established so far and that too by the UN Food Program at its own expense.
- While the remaining 202 units were to be set up by the State Rural Livelihood Mission.
