The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by Adani Gas Limited.
The petition was regarding the operation of city gas distribution in Ahmedabad.
The authority given to Gujarat Gas has now been upheld by the Supreme Court.
Not only this, the SC has also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh, which will straight away go to the GoI.
It said that the PNGRB rules are 'neither arbitrary nor contrary to the Constitution.
