UP: Danish Khan plays Ram in Ramlila, religious contractors reach home and threatens
- A shameful case has come to light from Bareilly in UP where Danish Khan is getting threats for becoming Ram in Ramlila.
- According to the information received, Danish is a drama artist. He got a chance to play Ram and Samuel Khan had to play the role of Kaikeyi in Ramlila.
- When both staged the play, the religious contractors felt bad. Some people reached Danish's house and said,"leave the play or else they will occupy the house."
- Scared of the threats, Danish and Samuel reached their colleagues at the SSP office, told the officer, "we are artists, we respect every religion."
- SSP Rohit Sajwan has ordered an immediate investigation in view of the seriousness of the matter, saying, "strict action will be taken against the accused."
