
Dalit head husband complains of caste discrimination in school, gets death threats
- Recently, a case of caste discrimination against children came to light in a govt school in Daudapur village of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh.
- The head husband of the village, coming from the Dalit community, had raised the issue of discrimination in the school.
- After the matter came to light, the headmistress of the school was suspended and two cooks were removed.
- The Dalit head husband, who has complained of caste discrimination, is now being threatened with death due to which he is being forced to stay out of the village.
- Letting you know, the utensils used by the children for mid-day meals were kept separate and the children used to wash the utensils themselves.
