Rahul Gandhi stands firm with farmers, tweets- 'exploitative govt does not like this but #IStandWithFarmers'
- The farmers have been protesting against the Centre's farm laws. The United Kisan Morcha has called for a Bharat Bandh today.
- The opposition has been targeting the targeting the Center in this regard. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also tweeted in favour of farmers.
- He tweeted, "Farmers' non-violent satyagraha is intact even today. But the exploitative govt does not like this That's why #आज_भारत_बंद_है."
- Rahul also used the hashtag #IStandWithFarmers which has been trending on Twitter. A user wrote, "PM Modi who has time to go to USA to speak to CEOs does not have a single minute to spare to talk to our farmers."
- Another wrote, "Farmers are fighting for their rights. They are country's backbone. They deserve our empathy. The BJP is defaming them because it wants to deprive them. Stand for farmers."
