Home Ministry did not approve CM Mamata's foreign travel, BJP MP said - 'Which law stopped?'
- West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was to attend an international conference in Rome in October but the Home Ministry did not allow her to go.
- BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy targeted the Modi govt for not giving the permission, saying - "which law prevents them from going."
- After the cancellation of the yatra, Mamta Banerjee said, "PM Modi is jealous of her, this decision of his shows jealousy towards TMC."
- TMC spokesperson Debangshu Bhattacharya said, "First stopped the trip to China, now not allowed to go to Rome, while we had decided after looking at the interests of India."
