UP: CO suspended in BJP MP's assault case, search continues for accused
- CO Lalganj Jagmohan Singh Yadav was suspended in the case of beating BJP MP Sangam Lal Gupta and BJP workers in the Pratapgarh district of UP.
- Jagmohan is accused that he did not provide a large number of police forces at the site of the incident, due to which the assault took place.
- Arogya Mela was held in the Sangipur development block of Pratapgarh, in which Congress leader Pramod Tiwari and his daughter MLA Aradhana Mishra reached as the chief guest.
- Meanwhile, BJP MP Sangam Lal Gupta also reached, after which there was a dispute between Congress and BJP workers.
- Congress workers attacked, ran and beat BJP workers, did not spare even Sangam Lal.
