Canada lifts ban on Indian passengers, flights will resume tomorrow
- The Justin Trudeau-led Canadian govt lifted a one-month ban on passenger flights from India.
- The ban was imposed because of the enhanced COVID-19 protocol.
- The govt said on Sunday, "From September 27, 2021, direct flights from India to Canada will resume."
- Earlier on Tuesday, Canada extended the ban on all direct commercial and private passenger flights from India till 26th September.
- However, with the restrictions now lifted, travellers from India can now travel to Canada with some precautionary measures.
