The Justin Trudeau-led Canadian govt lifted a one-month ban on passenger flights from India.
The ban was imposed because of the enhanced COVID-19 protocol.
The govt said on Sunday, "From September 27, 2021, direct flights from India to Canada will resume."
Earlier on Tuesday, Canada extended the ban on all direct commercial and private passenger flights from India till 26th September.
However, with the restrictions now lifted, travellers from India can now travel to Canada with some precautionary measures.
