The Central Govt has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court of the country saying that it will not conduct the caste census.
Seeing the stand of the Modi govt on this issue, reactions are coming out from all the political parties.
BSP chief Mayawati has targeted the Modi govt and said that the difference between the words and deeds of the central govt has come to the fore.
She tweeted, "The categorical refusal of the Central Govt to conduct caste census of backward classes by filing an affidavit in the Hon'ble SCs very serious and highly contemplative."
"Expose and exposes the difference between their words and deeds. Caution needed", she further added.
