'Why the website has the GoI emblem, email id, PMO address?', asks Congress over PM-Cares
- The Central govt has said that in the Delhi High Court that it has no control over PM Cares Fund.
- It said that neither the central nor the state govt has control over it and it does not come under the purview of RTI.
- The govt has now come under the radar of opposition. Youth Congress National President Srinivas BV asked, "why the website has the GoI emblem, email id and PMO address?"
- He wrote, "If so-called PM CARES is a private fund & Not a Fund of the Government of India & neither is a ‘public authority’ under the RTI Act."
- Letting you know, it was said on behalf of the PMO that the trust works with transparency, all the details of which are available on the official website of PM Cares Fund.
