'By 2028, the birth rate of Hindus and Muslims will be equal as Muslims do 4-4 wives'- Digvijaya Singh
- Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has given a statement explaining the mathematics of the Hindu Muslim population.
- During an event on Wednesday, Digvijay claimed that by 2028, the birth rate of Hindus and Muslims will be equal.
- He said that the birth rate of Muslims is decreasing faster than the Hindus and by the year 2028, the birth rate of Hindus and Muslims will be equal.
- During the Kisan Padyatra program in the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh, he said that Muslims do 4-4 wives.
- "Dozens of children are born to them and after 10-20 years Muslims will become majority in the country and scare Hindus by saying that they will become a minority", he added.
