- In a program organized in the Collectorate Auditorium, the BJP MP described the farmers' movement as inspired by Pakistan.
- The BJP MP said that no farmer is agitating. Those who are agitating are not farmers but dacoits.
- However, this is not the first time that a BJP leader has made derogatory remarks about the farmers' movement or Rakesh Tikait.
