Increment in murder cases in the country during the Covid epidemic- NCRB report
- During the Corona epidemic in the country, there has been an increase in the cases of murder and other types of crimes.
- According to an NCRB report, 42,54,300 incidents of crime were reported in 28 states and 8 UTs of the country last year.
- Of these, 29,193 cases of murder were registered. This is one percent more than the previous year.
- A total of 28,915 cases of murder were registered in 2019.
- However, the total number of all types of crimes in the country stood at 66,01,285.
