Mayawati remarks Dalit CM to be an election gimmick, said - 'Congress does not trust Dalits'
- BSP chief Mayawati has termed the decision of Congress to make Charanjit Singh Channi as an election strategy.
- He said, "Congress will contest the coming elections by keeping the face of a non-Dalit in front, because they do not have faith in Dalits."
- Mayawati said, "When any political party is in trouble, it remembers Dalits. If they are not able to make a constitution, they gave responsibility to Babasaheb."
- While praising Babasaheb, he said that if he had not been there, Dalits and minorities in the country would not have been completely safe.
- Targeting the BJP, he said, "There is an election in UP, so the BJP is showing OBC love here, which is completely airborne."
