Punjab new CM Charanjit Channi waves off all the outstanding bills of farmers in Punjab
- Charanjit Singh Channi has become the new Chief Minister of Punjab. After this, he went to the Chief Minister's Office and took charge.
- After assuming office, Channi addressed the press conference in which he has announced to waive off all the outstanding bills of farmers in Punjab.
- Channi said, "If farmers and cultivators face any kind of heat, then I will also lay my neck in front of them."
- While describing himself as a common man, he thanked the Punjab high command and the entire party including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi.
- The CM said, "Congress has given such a big post to a poor. Rahul Gandhi is standing with the poor people."
