A leader of the Hindu Mahasabha has been arrested in Mangaluru along with two of his associates.
A day earlier, he threatened Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai over the demolition of a temple, saying, "We have not spared Gandhi, who are you?"
He further added, "If Gandhiji can be assassinated, do you think we can't do the same to you?"
Dharmendra, the organization's state general secretary, made this remark during a press conference. This has put the BJP government in trouble.
The govt has come under criticism for the demolition of a temple in Nanjangud, Mysore, following the directions of the SC.
