First time in independent India- Govt to run in Nagaland without opposition, all parties accept the proposal

  • In India's northeastern state of Nagaland, now the govt will run without any opposition. All the parties have decided to run the govt together.
  • In the meeting chaired by the state CM Neiphiu Rio, the proposal of a govt without opposition was accepted by all parties, including the BJP.
  • Nagaland govt spokesperson Neeba Kronu said that in the next few days, the MLAs will write a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly.
