- Tikait said, "The movement we are doing is a people's movement. What the Narendra Modi govt said in the manifesto, different works are being done."
- The farmer leader has said that everyone is engaged in selling the land, this was not mentioned in the manifesto.
- He added, "They are selling Bharat Petroleum, will sell BSNL too. Sheets and blankets are not being given in Indian Railways, but the fare is being increased by giving the name of the station."
