Haryana- OP Dhankhar's claim- 'drug problem is increasing due to farmers' agitation', Tikait responds

  • BJP leaders have taken an aggressive stand on the statement of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh asking farmers to agitate in Haryana and Delhi instead of Punjab.
  • Haryana BJP President OP Dhankhar has claimed that the problem of drugs has increased in many districts of the state due to the farmers' agitation.
  • He said that there has been an increase in the complaints of drugs from some districts of the areas where farmers are holding their agitation.
  • On the other hand, Rakesh Tikait has retaliated against OP Dhankhar regarding this matter. He said, "If you want to end intoxication, then the liquor shops should be closed."
  • He said that when the whole country was closed, the police was getting people to line up and sell liquor, but now when no charges were found, they accused the farmers' movement of increasing intoxication.
