Due to dengue and viral in Mathura, people forced to get treatment in private hospitals by mortgaging jewellery

  • In Mathura and Firozabad of UP, there has been an outcry due to dengue and viral fever, so far more than 150 children have died.
  • The situation is worse in Koh village of Mathura district, where 11 people have died so far, including 10 children.
  • The strange thing is that along with dengue, the risk of scrub phytos and leptospirosis has also increased in this village.
  • Harishankar of the village said that treatment is not being done in the govt hospital, so he had to go to private hospitals where jewellery has to be mortgaged for treatment.
  • Many elders of the village told that the fear in the village is so much that many people have sent their young children to their distant relatives' homes.
