- Twitter users have targeted the PM regarding the same. A user wrote, "Today is Engineers Day but who cares for them."
- He further added, "No IRMS recruitment, not allowed in Junior Engineer, no railway SSE recruitment since 6 years, no RRB JE recruitment since 3 years."
