Crime does not seem to be curbed in Uttar Pradesh. A Dalit village headman was beaten to death in Gorakhpur district of UP.
According to the information received, in Semar Dadi village of Sahjanwa police station area, on Monday night, the village head Janak Dhari Ranjan was badly beaten up by the bullies.
The family members took the village head to Tharrapar Hospital from where he was referred to Gorakhpur District Hospital, where he died during treatment.
Regarding the incident, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the relatives, seven people have been arrested.
Let us tell you, the crime against Dalits is increasing continuously in UP. Before this, in Azamgarh too, the Dabangs had demolished the house of the Dalit head.
