UP: Dalit village head beaten to death in CM Yogi's home district, seven accused arrested
- Crime does not seem to be curbed in Uttar Pradesh. A Dalit village headman was beaten to death in Gorakhpur district of UP.
- According to the information received, in Semar Dadi village of Sahjanwa police station area, on Monday night, the village head Janak Dhari Ranjan was badly beaten up by the bullies.
- The family members took the village head to Tharrapar Hospital from where he was referred to Gorakhpur District Hospital, where he died during treatment.
- Regarding the incident, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the relatives, seven people have been arrested.
- Let us tell you, the crime against Dalits is increasing continuously in UP. Before this, in Azamgarh too, the Dabangs had demolished the house of the Dalit head.
