- Priyanka Gandhi has criticized the Yogi Adityanath government of UP for having anti-women thinking.
- She tweeted, "A year ago today, horrific Hathras incident took place and instead of giving justice and security to the family, the UP govt had threatened them and also snatched the right of the daughter's funeral."
- She further added, "Govt officials and BJP leaders had made statements saying things like "rape" was not and the energy of the entire govt machinery was spent in killing the character of the victim."
- Chandra Shekhar Azad also tweeted, "The govt housing and a govt job that Yogi Ji had promised has not been fulfilled till date. This is the difference between BJP's words and deeds. We will do justice to the sister."
