Economic loss due to farmers' movement! Human Rights Commission sends notice to four states including UP

  • The Human Rights Commission has sent notices to Delhi along with UP, Rajasthan, Haryana and sought answers regarding the ongoing farmers' movement on the borders of Delhi.
  • On the economic loss caused by the farmers' agitation, the commission has asked the CS of all these states, DGPs along the Commissioner of Police of Delhi to send an action taken report.
  • It has been said in the letter of the commission that it is alleged that 9 thousand micro, medium and big companies are affected due to the agitation.
  • The letter added, "The transport system is also being badly affected. Due to this, the elderly and handicapped have to face difficulties in travelling."
  • It wrote, "They have to take a long route to reach their destination. Farmers sitting on the dharna are not even following the Corona rules."
