- Now, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted CM Yogi over the same. He tweeted, "What kind of appeasement?"
- Owaisi wrote, "The literacy rate of Muslims of the state is the lowest, the dropout rate of Muslim children is the highest."
- "Schools and colleges are not opened in Muslim areas. Baba's govt had received ₹ 16207 lakh from the central govt for the development of minorities, Baba spent only ₹ 1602 lakh", he added.
- Owaisi wrote, "In 2017-18, only 10 Muslims got houses under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. 9 lakh children of the country are severely malnourished, out of which 4 lakh children are from UP alone."
