
Kerala- Students' wing of Congress & IUML burn copies over inclusion of Savarkar and Golwalkar in the syllabus
- The Kerala govt has included Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and MS Golwalkar in the syllabus.
- Opposing this move, the students' wing of Congress has taken out a march at Kerala's Kannur University
- Not only this, students' arm of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) took out protests in the university campus.
- They burnt the copies of the new syllabus and alleged that the academic syllabus was being 'saffronised'.
- The students have blamed that the Kerala govt was encouraging 'saffronisation' in the state.
