"Will investigate the Karnal incident, if farmers are found guilty, will also take action against them": Anil Vij
- Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has said that the entire Karnal incident will be examined.
- This includes the police lathi charge on farmers on August 28 and civil service officer Ayush Sinha's remark of 'breaking the heads.
- Vij said on Thursday, "We will investigate the Karnal incident... not only Ayush Sinha. We cannot punish the officers without investigation."
- He also said, "If farmer leaders are found guilty, we will take action against them too."
- Vij's statement came amid a standoff between the agitating farmers and the Haryana govt against last month's lathi charge.
