
Only 8% children in rural areas are able to take online classes, 37% are not studying: Survey
- Schools that have been closed for a long time have been reopened in many states after the pace of coronavirus infection decreased.
- However, in many states including Delhi, primary classes are still being conducted online.
- Meanwhile, in a study it has been revealed that only 8 percent of children in rural areas are able to take online classes, while 37 percent of students are not able to do any kind of class.
- Such children deprived of online education come from poor families. In this survey for classes I to VIII, 60 percent of rural areas and 60 percent of Dalit and tribal children have been included.
- Half of these samples have been taken from Delhi, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
