- BJP can announce the name of lawyer Priyanka Tibrewal on the high profile seat of Bhawanipur.
- Priyanka has been a legal advisor to BJP leader Babul Supriyo, who joined the BJP in 2014 only at the behest of Supriyo.
- In 2015, Priyanka contested the election of Kolkata Municipal Council but she lost the election to Swapan Samdar of TMC.
- Contested the assembly elections from Antli in the same year, Swarn Kamal Saha of TMC defeated Priyanka by a margin of 58 thousand votes.
